Lead Teacher, Primary​/Early Childhood

City Garden Montessori School is hiring a Lead Teacher (Primary) for the 2026–27 school year.

We’re looking for an educator passionate about early childhood learning, Montessori education, and creating a joyful, inclusive classroom for children ages 3–5.

• Teaching experience, ideally in public or urban school settings
• Montessori and/or Missouri teaching certification (
  we can help get you certified )
• A strong commitment to anti-bias/anti-racist education
• Experience collaborating with classroom support staff and families
• A deep belief in nurturing curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning

Compensation

$45,000 to $62,000 per year, dependent on State Certification, Montessori Certification, Education and Experience, as well as benefits including:
