Job Description: Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music’s motto is "Learn to Play From the Heart" and we seek private music instructors who share this philosophy. We strive to make lessons accessible and affordable, believing music education is essential to a better, happier world. We are hiring private music instructors, especially for voice, with no fixed studio in the St.

Louis area. Students need teachers ASAP.

Lessons are conducted at the student’s home, your own home, your studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam. While webcam requests exist, they represent a small part of our base; most students prefer in‑person lessons. Therefore we need local instructors willing to host students or travel within the St. Louis area.

Compensation is independent contractor pay of $20–$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to let you focus on music.

Ideal candidates are passionate about teaching, good with kids, organized, reliable, and maintain clear communication with our office. Formal music training is not required; however you must have a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
