Louis, MO.

Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter :
Special Education
Location: St. Louis, MO
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12)
Pay Range: $29.00 - $37.75 hourly (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time options;
Hours per week to be discussed, with potential for after-school and evening shifts (

Note:

Flexible schedule including summer availability on Fridays)
Contract Length: TBD, to be finalized with the district
Candidate Type: Local

Requirements:

  • Qualified applicants MUST have a valid state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter, and be willing to obtain MO licensure
  • 2 years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter preferred but not mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Interpreting or related field
  • Experience interpreting in school settings (Pre-K–12), including classroom and IEP participation
  • Ability to support students’ communication needs using ASL and collaborate with school teams
