Anatomy & Physiology Lab Coordinator
As the Anatomy & Physiology Lab Coordinator within the Science Labs, individuals in this role will support the preparation and organization of the anatomy and physiology labs. This position involves preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols within all lab spaces, providing support for occurring labs and instructors, completing general lab upkeep and maintenance tasks as well as the organization and execution of open labs for students.
Regular communication and ongoing training with supervisors are required.
This position requires being organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong time management skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain meticulous records, have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and part of a team. Students will gain valuable experience in the science field/laboratory and learn workplace skills while contributing to the overall functionality of the natural sciences division lab spaces.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare lab set up and materials in advance.
- Work directly with professors for any addition needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols within all the lab space.
- Support occurring labs for any additional needs while on clock.
- Complete general lab upkeep and maintenance tasks.
- Hold open lab hours assisting students with their A&P questions.
- Regularly check in with supervisor for additional tasks and needs in the lab space.

- Must be a current full-time undergraduate student, majoring in a science or health professions field at Maryville University.
- Must be Federal Work-Study eligible (a US citizen that has filled out the FAFSA) and available to work during the academic year.
- A science faculty recommendation for lab work is preferred unless applying as a freshman. If applicable, please submit a recommendation letter with your application.
- Must commit to at least 10 hours per week.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the lab for extended periods
- Use of hands for handling equipment and preparing materials
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20–30 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Visual attention to detail for measurements and labels
- Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment with standard chemical exposure
- Responsiveness to active lab needs during sessions
- Strong time management skills.

$15/hr
