Position SummaryServes as the primary coordinator for the department’s undergraduate academic operations, including mass examinations, curriculum administration, student records, and course support. This position is critical to the successful delivery of the undergraduate program and directly supports faculty, students, and the Director of Undergraduate Studies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the complete administration process for the department’s largest undergraduate examinations. Responsibilities include scheduling, printing, assembling, proctoring, and scanning exams throughout the semester. Collaborate with the Director of Undergraduate Studies and faculty to coordinate evening exams, room scheduling, exam materials, seating charts, and proctor assignments. Work with Disability Resources and the Athletic Department to arrange accommodations and alternate exam schedules. Supervise graduate student proctors and ensure the examination process runs efficiently for approximately 2,000+ students each month.
- Provide administrative support for the undergraduate program in Mathematics. In collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Studies, oversee course listings and schedules each semester. Support faculty in managing student grades and records, special grade reports, and course-related administrative needs. Manage and update Workday Student and other student record systems to ensure degree requirements, transfer coursework, transcript corrections, and approved substitutions are accurately reflected.
Conduct audits before and after updates to ensure accuracy for students and advisors. - Provide staff support to the Director of Undergraduate Studies for undergraduate academic operations and student support. Maintain knowledge of curriculum requirements, academic policies, course enrollment, transfer credit, records, and scheduling processes in order to assist students, faculty, and advisors effectively. Collaborate with the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Arts & Sciences Academic Administration and the Office of the University Registrar to troubleshoot issues related to curriculum, enrollment, transfer credit, and degree requirements.
Manage updates to the undergraduate and graduate Bulletin in collaboration with the Directors of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies to ensure course descriptions, degree requirements, and curriculum changes are accurate and current. Order textbooks and desk copies for all Mathematics courses by coordinating with faculty, the campus bookstore, and publishers’ representatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery of course materials. - Perform other duties as assigned.
