The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

The Faith Adventures Program Director provides leadership for a multi-parish faith formation program serving children and families in South St. Louis. This role designs and implements an experience-based curriculum rooted in Catholic teaching, incorporating prayer, service, and community engagement to foster discipleship. The Director leads large-group sessions, develops age-appropriate small group instruction, and equips catechists and volunteers to effectively mentor and teach.

The position oversees all program operations, including curriculum development, session execution, volunteer formation, and family engagement. Additionally, the Director manages administrative functions such as communication, registration, sacramental records, and compliance with safe environment standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and collaboration to support both strategic program development and daily operations.

• Develop and implement Faith Adventures curriculum, including lesson plans, discipleship experiences, and family resources
• Plan and lead program sessions and enrichment activities; coordinate logistics and facilities
• Recruit, train, support, and evaluate catechists and volunteers
• Provide formation and guidance to ensure alignment with program values and Catholic teaching
• Engage families through communication, parish involvement, and faith formation opportunities
• Connect families to broader parish and regional ministry programs
• Maintain accurate student participation and sacramental records
• Oversee program communications, registrations, and administrative processes
• Ensure compliance with Archdiocesan Safe Environment (Prevent and Protect) requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Theology, Religious Education, or related field (or equivalent formation) Knowledge of Catholic teaching and practice Experience in ministry, education, or program leadership preferred Proficiency in Google Suite; experience with online forms/registration systems preferred Spanish proficiency preferred Completion of Prevent and Protect Safe Environment Program required

Hybrid role with in-person responsibilities at participating parishes Evening and weekend hours required for sessions and volunteer training Ability to travel locally between parish sites Ability to work collaboratively with pastors and parish staff Accountability Responsible for planning and managing program-related resources and budget
