Salary: $20,932 base salary (based on education and teacher assistant experience)
A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work.
FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt
- Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education
- Or an associate degree (or higher)
- Or high school diploma or equivalent
- Ready to Work Credentials
- WIN Assessment – minimum Level 3 certification
- Para Pro – minimum passing score of 456 on Para Pro, the state approved academic assessment
- Other qualifications may be accepted if the Board approves
- Provide classroom teaching assistance
- Provide supervision of students at all times
- Provide students with daily care (e.g., toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required
- Adhere to district dress code policies
- Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records
- Positively support all facets of student growth and development
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
- Perform other duties as assigned
