Overview

Villa Duchesne is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable part‑time Acorn Club employee to join our Lower School aftercare program. This position works up to 15 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for students in grades JK‑5 after the academic day.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise outdoor play and educational games tailored to age‑appropriate development.
  • Assist students in the Homework Club, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
  • Organize and facilitate enrichment activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and positive social interactions.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment where every child feels known and valued.
Qualifications

Preferred candidate will have:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering a supportive after‑school setting.
  • Availability to work the core hours of 3:00‑5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for partial coverage as needed.
