The Director also designs and leads discipleship events and programming for women that promote spiritual growth and maturity.
Essential Duties
Develop, lead, execute and support the University's study abroad, travel study and short-term mission trip programs from concept through completion, including itineraries, partnerships and host-site relationships. Deveop training and preparation programming for participants in overseas trips.
Develop, lead, execute and support the University's study abroad, travel study and short-term mission trip programs from concept through completion, including itineraries, partnerships and host-site relationships. Deveop training and preparation programming for participants in overseas trips.
Recruit, enroll, prepare and mobilize students for participation in global programs, including pre-trip orientation and post-trip debrief.
Provide administrative support for global programs, including budgets, registration, travel logistics, documentation, compliance and health, safety and risk management.
Recruit and student and volunteer leaders, and cultivate relationships with churches, ministry partners and host organizations.
Minimum Education /Experience
Bachelor's degree in ministry, communications, intercultural studies or a related field
Experience traveling and/or living overseas, with experience in travel planning and related budget management, ministry programming and student recruiting and mobilization.
Valid passport and driver's license required for domestic and international travel.
Preferred Education/Experience
Master's degree in a related field; prior experience in higher education or collegiate ministry Experience leading short-term mission teams or cross-cultural programs; proficiency in a second language.
