Role Description

The Teacher is a full‑time, on‑site position located in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging, standards‑based lessons, assessing student learning, and providing timely feedback to support academic growth. The teacher manages a positive, inclusive classroom environment, differentiates instruction for diverse learners, and uses data to inform instructional decisions. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and families, participates in professional development, and contributes to school‑wide initiatives that support student achievement and well‑being.

Additionally, the teacher maintains accurate records, communicates regularly with caregivers, and upholds the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications
  • Strong teaching and education skills, with experience in K–12 instruction or a related educational setting.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum implementation aligned with academic standards.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
  • Experience in training or mentoring students and/or peers, supporting skill development and growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; state teaching certification or eligibility strongly preferred.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
  • Strong classroom management, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration in a team‑oriented school culture.
