Associate Director, Campus Leadership Programs - Student Success

Position Summary

WashU's Division of Student Success seeks a leadership education professional for the position of Associate Director, Campus Life Leadership Programs. The Division of Student Success advances the educational mission of the university through resources and experiences outside the classroom that prepare our students for lifelong success.

• Serves as the bridge between the Division of Student Success and Wash U Leads, ensuring that leadership activities in Campus Life and the Division fully align with the overall goals the University has set for Student Leadership Education.
• Manages an annual set of leadership programs to include new student orientation programs related to leadership, Clifton Strengths, an annual fall “Leadership Week” and several student leadership retreats through the academic year.
• Serves as a liaison to all the Directors in the Division of Student Success to coordinate a unified approach to student leadership development across the institution.
• Oversees marketing and advertising workshops, coaching experiences, and programs developed by Wash U Leads to students and student groups.
• Develops, in collaboration with the Director of Wash U Leads, an annual leadership assessment that is given to students to measure the impact of leadership programs. Creates an annual leadership audit, that describes the numbers and types of leadership experiences Wash U students are engaging in.
• Supervision of professional and student staff.
• Oversees the Leadership Programming budget.
• Serves as a member of the senior leadership team in Campus Life, developing a collaborative vision related to the co-curricular experience at Washington University.
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Campus Life.
