KH Players (Drama A: Fall Mainstage) Technical Director

The Kirkwood School District is hiring a KH Players (Drama A: Fall Mainstage) Technical Director to support Kirkwood High School for the 26/27 school year. This person will work with students to oversee the technical aspects of the Spring Musical, including the construction, installation, and operation of scenic elements, while maintaining a safe and organized shop environment. The Technical Director will collaborate closely with the director, choreographer, music director, and student technical crews to ensure the successful execution of the production.

Responsibilities include supervising student crew members, coordinating set construction, overseeing load-in and strike, and attending production meetings, technical rehearsals, and performances as needed. Experience working with high school theatre students and theatrical construction is preferred. This is a seasonal, extra duty position that is paid via stipend.
