Occupational Therapist
Special School District's (SSD) occupational therapists (OTs) are committed to identifying and mitigating specific barriers for students. As an SSD OT, you will assess students' physical limitations, developmental delays, and related abilities to develop and provide intervention programs that ensure students have the support they need to excel to their greatest potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to champion inclusion by ensuring all students have an established foundation of strategies that support the goals of their individualized education plan and fortify their access to general and special education.
OTs work primarily during school hours, but occasional evening hours may be required. They are generously compensated, and receive benefits, including insurance, paid time off and holidays, access to staff health clinics, and more. OTs can serve single or multiple schools, depending upon their assignment.

Salary: $49,000 - $83,250/year based on education and experience
Calendar: 10-month school year (August to June), exact dates dependent on assigned location(s)
