As a Substitute Teacher, you will:
- Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure continuity in students' education.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
- Follow all school district policies and procedures.
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must have a current Missouri Substitute Certificate or Missouri Teaching License through the Department of Education (DESE)
- Must have 36+ college credits or Frontline Training
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous experience in teaching or substitute teaching is highly desirable.
- Must be able to pick up last-minute, on-call assignments and be available Mondays and Fridays.
