Make a meaningful difference supporting students growth as a contract School Psychologist for the academic year. This opportunity is located near Saint Louis, MO, with assignments in up to two schools in either elementary, high school, or a K12 environment. The district places a strong emphasis on workload balance and offers targeted support for contracted professionals.
As an integral part of the school community, your role will focus on conducting assessments, evaluations, and report writing, with a primary emphasis on Child Find activities. Caseloads are intentionally designed to remain manageable ranging from 3040 studentsensuring your expertise is focused where it matters most.
Qualifications:
- Current and active MO Department of Education School Psychologist certification required
- Experience with in a school setting preferred, with demonstrated flexibility across age groups (elementary, high school, or K12)
- Proficiency in conducting psycho educational assessments, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Able to complete mandatory credentialing (drug screening and fingerprinting) in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal skills; adaptable when faced with evolving caseloads and district needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive student assessments and evaluations as part of the Child Find process
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to inform interventions and support plans
- Draft clear, actionable reports and uphold all documentation standards
- Act as a resource for school staff regarding psychological services, assessment findings, and student needs
