Technical Learning Designer & Facilitator

The Technical Learning Designer & Facilitator plays a critical role in advancing Ever True's learning strategy by designing, developing, and facilitating high-quality learning solutions that support employee onboarding, system adoption, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. This role blends technical instructional design expertise with engaging facilitation, ensuring learning experiences are practical, scalable, and aligned to Ever True's mission, values, and operational needs.
Working closely with the Director of Organizational Development and cross-functional partners, this role translates complex systems, processes, and competencies into clear, accessible learning experiences that support team member success across Ever True.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains engaging learning experiences across modalities including instructor-led training, virtual sessions, microlearning, job aids, and on-demand resources
- Translates technical, system, and process-based content (e.g., Workday, UKG, Relias, operational workflows) into learner-centered experiences that support performance and adoption
- Applies adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and evaluation methods to ensure learning effectiveness and retention while partnering with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and ensure content accuracy, relevance, and consistency
- Facilitates engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for employees, leaders, and managers across Ever True
- Leads onboarding, system training, and organizational development workshops aligned with Ever True's learning strategy
- Adapts facilitation approach to diverse audiences, learning styles, and operational contexts while maintaining consistency of message and experience
- Supports the creation and ongoing development of Ever True's learning plans, onboarding paths, and role-based learning plans
- Evaluates learning effectiveness through feedback, participation data, and outcome measures; recommends improvements as needed
- Ensures learning content aligns with Ever True's job architecture, competencies, and career progression framework
- Collaborates with HR, IT, Operations, Finance, and community leaders to support organizational initiatives and system rollouts
- Serves as a technical learning resource and consultant for departments seeking scalable and sustainable training solutions
- Supports a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development across Ever True
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in instructional design, technical training, organizational development, or learning facilitation
- Experience designing and delivering training in complex, multi-site organizations preferred
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and facilitation best practices
- Experience translating technical or system-based content into clear, learner-friendly training
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to independently plan and execute complex learning projects while collaborating with cross-functional partners
- Proficiency with learning management systems and common productivity tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment and technology. This position requires extended periods of screen time, typing, and facilitating discussions. The role includes onsite and virtual facilitation, which may require prolonged standing, presenting, and movement within training spaces. Travel to Ever True communities and ministry support locations is required, including periodic overnight travel, and may involve transporting learning materials or equipment.
