Special education teachers work closely with professionals across various disciplines. Together, you will craft comprehensive and effective learning plans, providing the necessary scaffolding for each student to excel. This collaborative effort involves continuous assessment and monitoring of progress, with the flexibility to adapt and modify plans as needed. Salary: $49,000 to $83,250/year based on experience and education

Experience &

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required, specialization in special education preferred
• Classroom experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Missouri teaching certificate in one or more areas of special education required

Calendar:

• 10-month school year (August to June), exact dates dependent on assigned location
