Qualifications: Missouri Athletic Training License is required. Bachelor’s degree is required. Basic Life Support/CPR and AED certification is required. Master’s degree preferred.

Job Title: Athletic Trainer
Reports To: Director of Athletics and Activities
Responsibilities- Provide excellent care and treatment to athletes with sports‑related injuries.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the extent and nature of injuries.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans for each athlete.
- Monitor and track progress of athletes throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention techniques and proper training methods.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to athletes.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records for each athlete.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well‑being of athletes and staff.
- Stay current on industry advancements and incorporate them into daily practice.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for athletes and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
- Continuously strive for excellence and quality care in all aspects of athletic training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Exerts 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
- Exerts 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or
- Exerts 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
- Experience in athletic and/or activities program at high school level required.
- Missouri Athletic Training License required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Basic Life Support/CPR and AED certification required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
