Christ Community Lutheran School has an opening to join our ECE team as an Early Childhood Fellow (Full-Time Sub). The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. As an Early Childhood Fellow, you may sub in for a staff member who is out that day or simply provide another set of hands in an extra-busy classroom. • Assist lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and other basic care needs

• Standard full-time hourly schedule is 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., with a 1-hour break
• Total working time: 40 hours per week
• Academic Calendar Employment: duties are typically August 1 through May 31, with June/July off
• Summer Camp in June/July provides optional year-round employment if interested

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry young children up to 50 pounds
• Passion for teaching and working with children

• Hourly pay rate $16/hour ($17 if Bachelor's degree completed)
