About the role

Provides 1:1 and group instruction as needed to support student online learning toward earning a high school diploma. Coordinates student high school diploma education and training to ensure student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program leading to quality full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate student completion of approved online high school diploma program.
  • Meet Department of Labor (DOL) and Company statistical goals for assigned area.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage classroom environment and classroom discipline for effective learning.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of competency-based instruction, computer management instruction, and cooperative-learning techniques.
  • Tailor facilitation to each student by using a variety of instructional approaches in recognition of students’ diverse learning needs and preferences.
  • Make recommendations for policy and curriculum revisions.
  • Participate in evaluations of student progress.
  • Provide appropriate personal and educational guidance to students.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education with State certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
