We are hiring for Substitute Teacher and Substitute Teacher Assistants for the Affton School District. Remember that educator who made a difference in your life? Now it's your turn! Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.

Minimum Requirements:
• 18+ years of age (20 years + for high school)
• 36 college credit hours or high school diploma and completion of substitute training course
• Kelly offers the substitute Pathways Substitute Training course for candidates without the 36 college credit hours Missouri Substitute Certification Process
Substitute Pay Rates:
• Teacher/Librarian: $132 per day
• Teacher Assistant: $16.74 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
