Overview
CBCHC is a Bible‑believing, non‑denominational, elder‑ruled, Chinese/multi‑cultural church. Currently our congregation comprises a majority of Chinese immigrant families, for whom Mandarin is their primary language, with a significant minority of Cantonese‑speaking and multi‑cultural families who are primarily English‑speaking. The children, youth, and young adults at the church are primarily English‑speaking.
We are looking for an English‑speaking Student Ministry Intern who primarily teaches the elementary and middle school Sunday school classes on Sundays, including leading worship. The intern will also be involved in event planning and leading, as well as some administrative tasks for the Christian Education Department. If you are interested in the position, please contact:

- Prepare, Coordinate, and Lead weekly student worship.
- Teach elementary and middle school Sunday School classes based on church selected curriculum and assigned schedule.
- Plan and lead special events such as summer activities and song presentation.
- Heart for Ministry – A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for students and families. A baptized Christian is a must.
- Educational Background – Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Ministry, Education, or related field.
- Skills – Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes – Dependable, flexible, energetic, and teachable.
- Language – Must be fluent in English.
- Reference Check – Must pass a reference check.
- This position is for three months duration but can be extended based on performance.
- The candidate will work 10 to 20 hours per week depending on the needs.
