The Military Education Admission Specialist is a full-time, on-site role prefered ( or remote ) based in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for guiding active-duty military personnel, veterans, and military-affiliated candidates through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, conducting admissions interviews, explaining program offerings and training outcomes, and supporting applicants in understanding financing options, including military and veteran education benefits.
The specialist will coordinate with internal teams to schedule class start dates, maintain accurate records in the admissions system, and track applicant progress. This position also involves outreach to military organizations, attending relevant events, delivering presentations, and building relationships that support ongoing student recruitment and enrollment goals.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to support prospective students with empathy, professionalism, and timely follow-up.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to effectively present program benefits, address concerns, and support applicants in making enrollment decisions.
- Candidates should possess Student Recruiting skills, including outreach, relationship-building with military and community organizations, and managing pipelines of prospective learners.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills, such as understanding training programs, explaining curricula, and guiding students through the admissions and onboarding process.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with military and veteran education benefits, prior experience in admissions or higher education, and basic proficiency with CRM or admissions management systems.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet enrollment targets, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
