Health Sciences Program Coordinator

VISION FOR POSITION

The Health Sciences Program Coordinator (HSPC) is responsible for the seamless coordination and execution of health sciences coursework, clinical experiences, and transportation logistics for students enrolled in the health sciences pathway. This role supports up to 350 students across 12 career pathways, managing schedules across five higher education partners and two hospital systems. The HSPC serves as a key liaison between students, faculty, transportation services, and external partners to ensure students have access to the opportunities necessary for success in their career and academic journeys.

The HSPC collaborates with BELIEVE Academy leadership, higher education institutions, and industry partners to design and maintain efficient scheduling systems and provide direct support to students in navigating their academic pathways. This individual must be highly organized, proactive, and committed to student success in health sciences education.

• Student & Program Coordination
• Develop and manage schedules for students participating in off-campus coursework and clinical experiences across multiple institutions.
• Provide direct support to students in resolving scheduling conflicts and optimizing their academic pathways.
• Track student progress, attendance, and performance in health sciences programs, providing intervention support when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of student participation, coursework completion, and program outcomes.
• Logistics & Transportation Management
• Coordinate with the transportation manager to ensure safe, efficient, and timely travel for students to off-campus learning sites.
• Travel with students daily for all health sciences-related trips, ensuring a structured and supportive learning experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues related to transportation and scheduling in real-time.
• Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Serve as the primary point of contact between students, school leadership, higher education partners, and hospital staff.
• Ensure alignment between BELIEVE Academy’s health sciences programs and partner institutions’ expectations.
• Support faculty and advisors in integrating industry best practices into student learning experiences.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple schedules and stakeholders.
• Experience working with students in an academic, advising, or program coordination role.
• Understanding of healthcare education, workforce development, and career pathways.
• Ability to navigate complex scheduling logistics across multiple institutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage students, families, and external partners.
• Experience coordinating student transportation and off-campus learning experiences preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in program coordination, academic advising, or student services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Experience working in K-12 or postsecondary education settings.
• Background in health sciences education, workforce development, or student support services.
• Knowledge of dual enrollment programs and academic pathway development.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
