Step into a meaningful school-based role where your expertise as a School Psychologist will support K-12 students. In this contract position, you'll play a vital part in conducting special education evaluations within a dynamic, child-centered environment. Typical responsibilities include managing a caseload of 8-10 students at a time and completing an average of 32 cases annually, primarily through Child Find initiatives.

While this position is full-time, applicants seeking part-time or short-term work will also be considered, providing you with added flexibility.

Key

Qualifications:
  • Current and active Missouri Department of Education (DOE) School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 populations, highly valued
  • Strong foundation in conducting special education evaluations and Child Find processes
  • Ability to handle sensitive student information confidentially and professionally
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to work effectively on-site across most likely two schools
  • Must complete district credentialing, including fingerprinting with submission of TCN number and signing a technology agreement
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive school psychological services to K-12 students
  • Manage evaluations for special education eligibility, including assessments and development of relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely records in alignment with district policies and regulations
