Apple Tree Institute for Education Innovation is seeking a temporarily contracted Classroom Quality (CQ) Program Associate
for the Baseline wave of its assessment and Classroom Quality program. Apple Tree has established a reputation for educating young children in the District of Columbia, Connecticut, New York City, and Missouri. POSITION
DESCRIPTION:
The CQ Program Associate is a temporary, part-time contract position designed to support the Every Child Ready (ECR) Assessment Team. The ECR Assessment program provides a wide range of services for schools, including the Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®), Second Edition (Pre-K-3rd), co-scoring and assessment training, and support. Individuals selected for this role will support the delivery of high-quality services aligned with Apple Tree’s mission to transform the lives of children nationwide.
Responsibilities may include recruiting and supporting Early Childhood Classroom Program Associates; reviewing CQ documentation and providing timely feedback; co-scoring CLASS® v2; supporting CLASS video coding; and facilitating professional development. This position begins in mid-July, with the potential for extension into the Midyear wave based on performance.
CLASS v2 Certification Requirement:All CQ Program Associates must hold an active CLASS® Second Edition (Pre-K-3rd) certification. If you are not currently certified in CLASS v2, you must provide proof of certification
QUALIFICATIONS:Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree
(in Education, Psychology, the Social Sciences, or a related field). Candidates should have at least two years of experience
working with children or in an educational, psychometric, or research setting. All candidates are subject to a criminal background check.

COMPENSATION :Program Associates will be compensated at a rate of $30 per hour
for hours worked. The role is projected to require approximately 15-20 hours per week
, depending on project needs and individual availability. While it is preferred that Program Associates be available at least four days per workweek
, scheduling exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Compensation will be provided only for actual hours worked
