** Plays an integral part in guiding Olin students through their educational journey. The Academic Advisor advises students, recruits students and promotes student success, retention and progression to graduation.#
** Job Description
**** Primary

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Provides in-depth advising services promoting graduate student success, retention, and degree completion. Advises graduate students on programs, curriculum, graduate education, and university policies, processes, and procedures
* Assesses the holistic needs of students, provides support, and refers to appropriate campus partners. Responds to communication in a timely manner. Works closely with other University partners in the best interest of our students.
* Organizes and maintains files, coordinates incoming and outgoing communications. Maintains files for students.
* Plans student engagement opportunities and events both on and off-campus for students.
* Represents the department at orientation, commencement and other events.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
