Production Associate:Master the Craft of Aquatic Design
Let’s be honest; many entry-level design and engineering roles have you stuck doing redlines for years with no clear path forward. This isn’t one of them.
At Counsilman-Hunsaker, we don’t just engineer facilities; we help shape aquatic experiences across the country. From community pools to world-class competition venues, our work impacts how people live, compete, and connect.
We’re looking for a Production Associate who is ready to dive in, master our technical toolbox, and build a definitive career path in the aquatics industry.
What You’ll DoThis is a hands-on role designed to cultivate mastery in design and project development. You’ll be right in the middle of the action, working with our team to bring aquatic projects to life.
- Learn our design standards, with a clear roadmap to independently developing drawings for complex and major projects.
- Produce detailed Revit models and CAD drawings, and assist in preparing engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with our Project Managers and other team members to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Help us refine our master toolbox, engage in BIM implementation, and participate in our Improvement Process to keep the "Counsilman Hunsaker way" cutting-edge.
- Investigate new materials, construction techniques, codes, and industry trends to support our forward-thinking approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Proficiency in Revit; experience with CAD is a plus.
- A solid understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
- A self-starter who is detail-oriented and thrives in a team environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
Bonus:
Background in aquatics (swimming, diving, lifeguarding, water polo, etc.). We like to say you’ve got a little “chlorine in your blood.”
- Collaborative, team-first culture where your ideas are heard and encouraged.
- Opportunity to contribute to meaningful, visible projects across the globe.
- A growth trajectory with defined milestones to advance your career.
- Learn from 56+ years of industry leadership:
Working with us means learning from the deepest pool of industry expertise, giving you a masterclass in design you can't get anywhere else.
If you’re looking for a technical role that offers real mentorship, a defined career path, and the chance to work on incredible projects, we’d love to talk.
