Tetra Tech is adding an ICC Certified Inspector to our Case Management team based in Saint Louis, Missouri
. This is a project-based, temporary role.

Position Summary:

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a qualified ICC Certified Inspector to perform building inspections ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The ICC Certified Inspector will conduct thorough site inspections, identify code violations, and collaborate with project teams to uphold safety and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Conduct inspections of buildings, structures, and construction sites in accordance with International Code Council (ICC) standards and local building codes.

Identify and document code violations and non‑compliance issues.

Communicate inspection findings clearly to contractors, developers, and project managers.

Collaborate with project teams and regulatory agencies to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Maintain detailed records and reports of inspections and compliance status.

Stay current with updates to ICC codes, building regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Valid ICC certification in relevant inspection discipline (e.g., Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Residential).

Experience conducting building inspections and interpreting code requirements.

Strong knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to document inspection results thoroughly and accurately.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to inspection sites as required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to walk on uneven terrain and climb up and down stairs.

Working on site with loud equipment for extended periods of time.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end. It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
