High Voltage Test Engineer (Connecticut)

- Performon-site AC and DC Dielectric Testing of High Voltage Components (Cable,Switchgear Generators etc.) up to 1000kV.
- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of high voltage, AC, DC, and impulse test systems
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs down to printed circuit board level of high voltage test systems
- Generate Test Reports after completing field testing.
- Customer Interface and Scheduling of Tests.
- On Site Service and Repair of High Voltage Test Equipment.
- Assist with on-site maintenance and testing of medium voltage switch gear.
BSEE or similar engineering degree
Familiar with high voltage test equipment and test techniques
Familiar with PLC and microprocessor based industrial controls
Familiar with power electronics
Willingness to travel 50% to projects throughout the US
