The Senior Electrical Power Engineer is expected to lead teams for power‑generation design projects in a traditional Owner’s Engineering role, manage client relationships, mentor junior engineers and lead marketing activities including proposal writing, fee builds and WBS development. A significant level of design and engineer‑of‑record experience with power‑plant systems is required.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis.
• 15+ years’ experience in electrical power generation and renewable energy design.
• Field experience, including startup and commissioning.
• Experience in renewable energy (PV, BESS, etc.) and DER or microgrid projects is highly desired.
• Previous experience with an engineering power consulting firm desired.
• Willingness to grow into a team lead, section manager or business class leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, as a lead on a multi‑discipline consulting team or a small team.
• Extensive knowledge of three‑phase electrical power, protection and control design, system grounding, and lighting and grounding design.
• Instrumentation and controls experience, particularly with DCS and PLC systems, is a plus.
• Work with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews with management as needed.
• Direct the activities of other engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members as needed.
• Position will include an expectation of less than 10% travel for client and vendor meetings and project site visits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Requires a professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, and Revit).
