Structural Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide customer‑oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Central Region. This role offers great growth potential.

Posting Locations:
Normal, Peoria, and Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO.

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for energy and industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 5–8 years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures.
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi‑disciplinary environment capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferred.
