- We're looking for an engaged and curious problem solver who is a structural engineer with at least 3 to 4 years experience and is planning to become licensed, and can engage and communicate with our staff and clients to gain their trust.
- We want someone who can be comfortable collaborating with other team members to find solutions.
- Proficient in performing structural engineering design and calculations.
- Familiarity with design codes such as IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.
- Comfortable reading and reviewing structural drawing packages and specifications.
- Ability to work with multiple materials such as structural steel, concrete, and wood.
- Reading and coordinating vendor drawings (i.e. PEMB or equipment drawings).
- Foundation and anchorage design.
- Self-directed and mentally engaged with ambition for learning.
- Able to competently communicate in person and in writing. Must be willing to ask questions.
- Able to work closely with, creatively contribute to, and take direction from, a team of professionals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting amongst engineers, architects, contractors, and other construction personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.
- Experience in structural design software such as RISA3D, RISAFND, Enercalc, TEDS, etc.
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in Structural Engineering preferred, with preference given to candidates who have experience working on industrial projects.
