You will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

+ Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.

+ Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and resolve production issues.

+ Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements related to workflow, equipment, and layout.

+ Support production and maintenance teams with technical problem-solving.

+ Assist with machine setup, equipment troubleshooting, and resolving product deviations.

+ Perform in-process checks to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.

+ Collaborate across teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and process records.

+ Handle sensitive technical and manufacturing information in accordance with company policies.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

+ 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and engineering principles.

+ Experience troubleshooting production and process-related issues.

+ Ability to analyze data and independently solve complex problems.

+ Effective communication across production, engineering, and leadership teams.

+ Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

+ Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in metal fabrication, welded assemblies, or similar environments preferred.

+ Ability to build relationships across departments and support team collaboration.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role from Monday to Friday in a fast-paced and production-driven environment focused on tubular components and welded assemblies. Engineers gain exposure to high-volume manufacturing challenges and process improvement work. The setting is hands-on, closely tied to the shop floor, allowing individuals to take ownership of projects and troubleshoot issues in real-time. The company operates with a lean, team-oriented structure, providing more visibility and opportunities to contribute across multiple areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
