Overview
McClure Engineering is searching for an Electrical Engineering student to be part of our 8 month Co-Op Program. Under the supervision of a more experienced Engineer, a Co-Op student will be exposed to a range of electrical design tasks and project collaboration.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical design of lighting, power distribution and communication systems including fire alarm systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical Drafter/Designers on the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications).
- Apply engineering calculations across multiple projects.
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and circuits.
- Research commercially available equipment and select equipment appropriate for project/client needs.
- Solve complex problems during both design and construction phases of MEP projects.
- Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders.
- Perform field inspections to verify existing site conditions.
