Staff Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Engineer to support a growing engineering team in St. Louis. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to support the design, development, and execution of engineering projects. This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their career who has strong foundational engineering skills and is looking to grow into a more advanced role.

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project execution and coordination
• Design components, systems, or processes and assist with full project development
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and supporting documentation
• Perform research, data analysis, and engineering calculations
• Assist with development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on project deliverables
• Attend project meetings and present on assigned portions of work
• Maintain quality assurance and compliance with engineering standards

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of engineering design and analysis principles
• Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, or similar tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Experience in civil, structural, or related engineering fields
• Exposure to project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling
