Project Manager, Civil Engineer

• Lead, design, and review civil designs (grading, drainage, stormwater, turf‑base systems)
• Collaborate with estimating, project management, and sales teams, attending client hand‑off meetings and providing ongoing project support
• Provide QA/QC for work produced by Civil Designers and Project Engineers
• Ensure designs meet municipal, state, and agency standards (AHJs, MODNR, USACE, etc.)
• Mentor, train, and support engineering staff
• Prepare and review permit submittals and coordinate approvals
• Attend client and municipal meetings
  
  Help manage workloads and support smooth handoff to construction

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience (site design and project coordination)
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design
• Sports/parks experience and Midwest standards knowledge are a plus

• Strong technical and design review skills
• Leadership and mentoring ability
• Good communication and organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Ability to perform essential job functions while working at a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to visit construction sites and navigate uneven terrain with PPE
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
