Position: Commercial Manager, Class I Railroad Business Development
Location: St. Louis

Intramotev is seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development / Commercial with a focus on Class I Railroads. This position will play a key role in helping Intramotev meet its future volume goals by securing agreements with Class I railroads that can scale.

A successful candidate will have deep experience and relationships with Class I Railroads, either through previous Class I employment, calling on Class Is as customers, or both.

Position Responsibilities
  • Secure sales and/or pilot agreements with Class I railroads for Intramotev’s Tug Volt product
  • Represent Intramotev at conferences, within industry organizations, and at customer events
  • Work across Intramotev to communicate customer and industry feedback to Engineering and Design teams
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to build and maintain a rolodex of strong relationships at executive, senior, and mid-levels of Class I railroads.
  • Ability to learn Class I Railroad operations, use cases, and networks
  • Ability to understand and convey technically complex product benefits and value propositions in simple terms
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Self-starter willing to operate independently with autonomy as well as cross-functionally in small teams.
  • Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with the Federal Railroad Administration or familiarity with FRA regulatory standards is a plus.
Typical Education And Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3-5 or more years' related work experience.

Working location

This position is hybrid and can be based in any of the following US rail hubs:
St. Louis, Chicago, Dallas / Fort Worth, Jacksonville, Atlanta, or Omaha.
