The Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Experienced Industrial Engineering Tech (or Methods Process) Analyst. When you join our team of mission-driven engineers, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on while driving solutions to difficult problems. As a member of the team, you will support the fabrication and assembly for the next generation Air Force Trainer, bombers and tactical fighter aircraft, autonomous air vehicles, rotorcraft, advanced airborne sensors, space vehicles, satellites, weapons systems, the commercial fleet of single and twin-aisle airplanes, and much more.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Applying standards to the new work instructions.
  • Updating precedence networks supporting tooling and production schedule decisions. Creating and maintaining engineering performance metrics.
  • Integrating modular tooling.
  • Analyzing the current and future business environment and developing forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
  • Developing and maintaining complex Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.
  • Developing labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards, tool and production design drawing reviews, and Tool and Production Operations concurrence to support program business plans.
  • Monitoring performance.
  • Participating in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzing changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.
  • Assessing the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
  • Developing modifications to existing plans and obtaining approval for plan changes.
  • Participating in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.
  • Developing, implementing, maintaining, and status integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.
  • Developing and supporting shop performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend a plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.
