Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems.
- Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
- Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5 + years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model based instruction
- Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, Vis Mockup, Pro Model, Flex Sim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi
- Monitor Collaborative Rooms
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA,
