Why join us?A Project Engineer works with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the technical administration of the project. This is accomplished by coordinating RFIs, taking full responsibility for the submittal process and the coordination and communication of company processes for the project. This is a safety sensitive position when on the job site.
Job Details- Review and manage all requests for information (RFIs) for the project.
- Ensure compliance with design documents through skilled review to determine constructability in coordination with building systems.
- Manage the procurement log and ultimately ensure material procurement to achieve the project schedule.
- Conduct job site meetings including documentation and facilitation.
- Coordinate the receipt and distribution of all records, closeout and warranty documentation for the project.
- Obtain and maintain FAA Part 107 license, including any necessary additional learning via webinars, classes, events, etc. to stay aware of changes in rules, laws, and regulations for drone flights.
- Schedule, manage, and fly drones including the distribution of footage.
- Participate in project schedule management through completion, including assistance with the 3‑week look‑ahead schedule.
- Identify drawing detail issues, conflicts between building systems, and constructability issues to solve problems, maintain, and accelerate the construction schedule and reduce cost.
- Participate in financial management of the project, including subcontractor selection and execution, change management, and pay application management.
- Manage project documentation updates and changes and distribute them to trade partners.
- Resolve conflicts between owner, contractor, and subcontractor.
- Understand building codes/regulations to identify potential issues and assist in coordinating a resolution.
- Ensure safety of the project site, conduct safety checks, and address safety concerns.
- Travel to attend and participate in necessary meetings, client/partner/job site visits, or events.
- Serve as a member of the project team to accomplish project goals.
- Mentor new team members.
- Engage in opportunities for professional growth and development and maintain training requirements.

- Ensure quality of materials and workmanship on the job site, conduct quality assurance checks, and coordinate a resolution to quality issues.
