DSJ Global is partnered with an established and rapidly growing HVAC and machinery manufacturing organization in the St. Louis region looking to hire multiple
Mechanical Engineers from level I to IV. They are currently expanding the mechanical team to support the design and development of new advanced HVAC&R equipment for commercial, industrial, and specialized applications.
This is an opportunity to join a team that builds custom‑engineered heat transfer, refrigeration, and air‑handling systems used in a variety of environments - with strong organizational investment in innovation, new product development, and market expansion.
Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities- Creating and refining mechanical designs for heat exchangers, air‑conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and air‑handling units using 2D and 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD).
- Performing component sizing, selection, and system performance analysis.
- Provide budget, cost, and schedule input in order to drive new product development projects.
- Perform hands-on support of prototype fabrication, assembly, and product testing.
- Reviewing customer requirements and developing compliant, high‑quality product designs.
- Coordinating with suppliers and evaluating components, subsystems, and services.
- Supporting prototype builds, testing, qualification activities, and production release.
- Assisting with cost estimates, schedules, and proposal inputs.
- Providing hands‑on engineering support to cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-10 years of relevant experience (depending on level of position).
- Experience designing mechanical components or equipment - ideally in HVAC&R, thermal systems, or related mechanical assemblies (sheet metal, welded structures, machined parts).
- Proficiency with CAD modeling and drafting; familiarity with ASME drawing standards.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience using PTC Creo (including sheet metal and assemblies).
- Experience with Windchill or similar PDM/PLM platforms.
