This is an on-site role based in St. Louis, MO, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership, clients, and a strong technical team in a growing office environment.
NoteCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, an active Missouri Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain through reciprocity, 10+ years of transportation engineering experience, and experience with MoDOT and Local Public Agency projects.

Job Description- Lead transportation engineering projects including highways, interchanges, intersections, and roadway improvements.
- Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, and project documents in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and coordination with internal technical teams.
- Work directly with public and private clients throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Support MoDOT, Local Public Agency, and related transportation infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, technicians, and other disciplines to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Assist with proposals, client development, and business development efforts.
- Represent the firm through client relationships, industry involvement, and high-quality project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri required or ability to obtain by reciprocity.
- 10+ years of transportation engineering or civil transportation project management experience.
- Experience with MoDOT and Local Public Agency projects required.
- Experience with IDOT or tollway projects is a plus.
- Proficiency with Micro Station, Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of project documentation, roadway design, geometric layouts, intersection design, ADA layouts, and applicable design criteria.
- Traffic signal and storm sewer design experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, budgeting, and client-management skills.
