An employee-owned, nationally recognized design-build construction firm is seeking a Structural Drafter (Revit) to join its growing structural engineering group in St. Louis. Following the acquisition of a well-established structural consultancy (founded in the early 1990s), the business has continued to expand its full-service capabilities-delivering integrated solutions across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional projects nationwide. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in producing high-quality structural construction documentation within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Structural Drafter will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop detailed Revit models and contribute to the successful delivery of complex building projects. This is a full-time, in-office position based in the St. Louis area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain 3D structural models in Revit, including plans, sections, and detailed drawings
- Produce accurate and coordinated construction documentation packages
- Apply and manage redline markups efficiently and with precision
- Follow established BIM standards, templates, and workflows, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate models effectively with architects, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders
- Actively participate in internal team discussions and project coordination meetings
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in structural drafting using Revit
- Educational or professional background in Drafting, CAD/BIM Technology, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Revit for structural modeling and documentation (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to coordinate models across disciplines
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing clear, consistent documentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
