Senior Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Program and configure controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory systems.
• Develop system graphics, sequences of operation, control narratives, and technical documentation.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Support field technicians and customers during installation and commissioning activities.
• Conduct system performance analysis and implement energy optimization strategies.
• Provide technical support, training, and service assistance to customers as needed.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, and as-built records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in controls engineering, building automation, or industrial automation.
• Experience with BAS/BMS platforms such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, control strategies, and energy management systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring, and instrumentation.
• Experience with communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
