Location: St. Louis

Process Engineer – Membrane Solutions (St. Louis, MO)

We focus on evaluation, design, and support of membrane process gas applications in the biogas upgrading market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aspen heat & material balance simulations for new and existing customers to enable safe and efficient use of membrane products.
  • Evaluation of new application inquiries to determine accurate membrane product fit.
  • Participate in and ultimately lead R&D programs for new applications and products.
  • Support P&t, operability reviews, and hazard reviews.
  • Provide troubleshooting and assistance to help customers resolve product performance issues.
  • Train customers in safe installation and operation of membranes.
  • Provide onsite service support to customers with existing membrane systems.
  • Investigate product failures to assess customer warranty claims.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the business and product development team for future product improvements.
  • Conduct performance tests on product improvements and incorporate results into new product specifications.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • 3+ years of process engineering experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with customers with little membrane experience.
  • Initiative and self-confidence to work independently, including traveling to customer sites.
  • Creative mindset and eagerness to explore novel solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, with an estimated average travel of 10%.
Minimum Hiring Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience with membrane systems and/or gas processing is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
