Electrical Engineer – St. Louis, MO

ABNA Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Midtown St. Louis, MO location. This position requires a self‑motivated individual to assist with the design and development of lighting, power distribution, communication, instrumentation, and controls projects.

ABNA is a multi‑disciplinary M/W/DBE firm experiencing growing opportunities for electrical engineering and building services design capabilities for governmental, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional facilities.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience required.

• Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
• Create and review electrical equipment specifications.
• Prepare estimates of probable construction costs.
• Perform electrical engineering studies and calculations.
• Develop schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, MCC single‑line diagrams, control panel layouts, lighting & power plan drawings.
• Review shop drawings and vendor documentation.
• Clearly communicate concepts and ideas with clients and construction personnel.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and general arrangement drawings.
• Develop proposals and project hour estimates.
• Assist with sales calls and interviews for projects.
• Meet with clients and vendors.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and designers.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
