Civil Engineer

Overview

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. The role focuses on planning, design, and management of civil engineering projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation for local and government agencies. This position offers opportunities to contribute to an established and growing company.

Posting Locations: St. Louis, MO or Belleville, IL

• Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
• Work with a variety of projects including water, sewer, streets, parks, K-12 and higher education, and renewables
• Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
• Perform condition assessments
• Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
• Manage projects and programs from inception to completion
• Working knowledge of storm hydrology calculations

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 – 8 years of Civil Engineering experience
• FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained
• Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
• Management, communication, and organization skills

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal and external equity).
