This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft. Responsibilities include developing, integrating, and documenting structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordination with other engineering groups is required to establish the product's environment. The role involves guiding product design and verifying structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Provides technical solutions for aircraft production lines with high priority nonconformance stress analysis and engineering changes. Works under general direction.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Experience includes 5+ years working with stress analysis/structural analysis, 5+ years using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, proficiency with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP, Hyperworks), experience with Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation), and experience with design process specifications (Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization – MMPDS, Design Manuals).
