Our client, an Industrial Energy / Turbo machinery Aftermarket Engineering organization, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Piping & Fluid Systems to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Piping & Fluid Systems, you will be part of the Engineering / Fluid Systems Team supporting Aftermarket Gas Turbine Servicing, Design, and Engineering Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative and a self-starter mindset, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range$43.75/hr - $50.00/hr.
What’s the Job?- Develop fluid subsystem designs including piping, tubing, lube oil, hydraulic, water, air, exhaust, and related mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards (API, ASME, CSA, PED, ATEX, ISO, NACE).
- Collaborate with suppliers and experienced engineers to design and refine fluid accessory components such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and instrumentation.
- Review customer and fleet data to support redesign efforts that improve reliability, performance, and system efficiency.
- Produce and support engineering deliverables including P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, redline markups, work instructions, and technical datasheets.
- Perform engineering calculations such as pressure drop, pump and motor sizing, valve selection, and pressure/flow analysis while supporting skid and piping system designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical design (10+ preferred).
- Strong experience with piping, tubing, skid systems, and industrial fluid systems.
- Familiarity with ASME pressure systems and piping design (including systems up to ~3000 psi).
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, weld symbols, and industry codes/standards.
- Experience reviewing 3D models (NX experience preferred; hands‑on CAD not required).
- Background in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial equipment manufacturing strongly preferred.
